Well I am sitting here watching MNF and enjoyed a great ending to the game. Bears win a close one in the end. That poses my football question for today. The game is tied 17-17 with about 1:50 to go in the game. The bears get the ball down to 5 yard line. They can run clock down to 4 seconds. If you are the packers why don’t you let them score and you get the ball back with about 1:40 to go in game? Let me know your thoughts?
The mighty tigers won again saturday and now we are 5-0. We played the laporte cowboys and Brad played pretty good. he dropped and long pass that was frustrating but we will teach him how to have his hands so next time he will be ready. He did play defense at the end and we had to stop them with a goalline stand. It was really fun and that is the second game in a row that ended with a goalline stand. I think we are learning to win in close games and building some mental toughness. If you can say 9 year olds can get mentally tough(haha).

Mady played in a volleyball tournament and they did great. They beat friendswood who beat us earlier in the week. Mady played with more confidence and was a digging machine. They ended up winning consolation. Mady is wearing the lime green lebero shirt.
I went to the deer lease right after Brad’s game for work
weekend. We planted food plots and fixed feeders. I put windows on my new stand. I even saw a hog at a stand called the pea patch. I drove up and watched it for about 5 minutes before it ran off. I am really looking forward to this deer season. I have a nice stand and I have gotten more prepared as far as feeders and getting things ready than I really have before. I plan on relaxing and enjoying watching the kids enjoy the lease.
The Te
xans lost to the cowboys and it was ugly. We did do some good tailgating before and after the game. We met Dale and Cheryl Rose at Summer and Bull’s and followed them there. They are Brandee’s parents. We made taquito’s in the morning and Brat’s and sausage af
ter it was over. Here are the eggs and sausage being cooked for taquitos and Grandad doing his best impression of a BBQ cooker. They are great people who treat me and my family as if we are part of theirs. I really appreciate that and respect the heck out of them.
Starting another work week and getting the kids ready for more sports events. Looking forward to the Texans whipping the raiders and I can throw it in Lounsbury’s face. Wonder what we will bet on this year. Got any ideas?
Go Vikings,Tigers, and Texans!!!!!!!!
